Last Day in Taipei -- It was a good year

I've always hated writing, but after receiving encouragement from my mom (more like prodding) and Casey, I decided to give it a shot. This isn't going to be poetic, just informative. Enjoy!

We'll be picked up in 3 hours to go to the airport. We have to bring like 19 bags, because we'll just be back in Taiwan one night before heading to the US and are leaving all the bags with a hotel by the airport.

OK, not quite 19, but a lot. Two on the left are for Asia.

Evelyn is running one last errand right now, exchaging my last paycheck (not really a paycheck, I just get handed a stack of 1000nt bills) for traveller's checks. We are just about packed up and are excited to finally leave. Evelyn finished her internship at Microsoft two months ago and has been planning our trip and waiting for me to finish my contract, so she's definitely ready to get outta here. I haven't worked this past week, but have been busy on Couchsurfing.org arranging places to stay on our 100-day 48-9? state road trip. Should we go to Alaska?

Thanks to all my fellow teachers and students who made my year in Taiwan a wonderful experience.

Jason, Stephen, me, Ryan, and Phillip
